Najma terms of use

Last updated 18 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and JinBot Studios (“we”, “us”) for using the Najma app. By using Najma you agree to them. Questions: support@jinbotstudios.com.

Using Najma

  • You must be at least 13 years old.
  • Najma is for your personal, non-commercial use.
  • Don’t misuse it: don’t try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the app or our servers, or use it to break the law.

Prayer times and guidance

Prayer times are calculated from your location and the method you choose, and can differ from your local mosque by a few minutes; you can adjust them in the app. Qibla directions depend on your phone’s compass. Hijri dates and key dates are estimates and can move with moon sighting. Duas, Quran text and other religious content are provided for convenience. Najma isn’t a religious authority: for rulings, please ask a scholar you trust.

Subscriptions and free trials

  • Najma is offered as a subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app and the store before you buy.
  • Payment is taken by the App Store or Google Play when you confirm the purchase.
  • Free trial: if a plan includes a free trial, it turns into a paid subscription when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
  • Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your store account is charged within the 24 hours before renewal.
  • Cancelling: manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Deleting the app or your account doesn’t cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.

Your account and data

How we handle your information is described in the privacy policy. You can download or delete your data at any time from the app.

Our app

Najma, its design and its content are owned by us or our licensors, except the Quran text and other material used under their own licences, which are credited in the app. These terms give you a personal licence to use the app; they don’t transfer ownership.

Changes and availability

We may update Najma, add or remove features, or change these terms. If a change is important, we’ll tell you in the app before it takes effect. We try to keep Najma available and accurate, but can’t promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions.

Liability

Najma is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Najma in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live, or our liability where it can’t legally be limited.

Ending

You can stop using Najma at any time and delete your account in the app. We may suspend access if you break these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as liability) still apply afterwards.

Apple

If you got Najma from the App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple isn’t responsible for the app or its support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
